1996 Cherokee Sport, all in the family!

Hello folks.....hope to benefit and contribute to the forum! 126 K miles, in family since new.

Anyone know about water leaking on driver's floor? not windshield, no sunroof, what else could it be?

Welcome to the garage.
Is it really water leaking and no coolant from a leaking heater core?
Could also be condensation water from the HVAC housing or a plugged HVAC housing drain.

thanks for suggestions, it is definitely clear water, not coolant, collecting in at lower left footwell of drivers side......puddles on the left. Have soaped up the windshield and used air hose to find if windshield leaks, it doesn't.

Not sure where the HVAC housing has its drain on the Cherokee. I would check after some driving or after having some rain, if there is any sign of water on the lower HVAC housing side. The drain should be a small tube coming out of the bulkhead in the engine compartment.
