1998 Laredo no spark

1998 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4.0. Died suddenly. No power to ignition coil. Tried to diagnose and replaced computer. Still the same problem. Help would be appreciated.

Re: 1998 Laredo no spark

The coil and injectors are most probably fed via the ASD relay (auto shutdown relay). First check if no fuse is blown, than swap the ASD relay with a similar relay in the fuse box. The ASD relay is only closed for a few seconds when the engine doesn´t run, so the problem can be something different, like the crank position sensor, or even fuel pressure related.

It was the crank sensor. Thank you for your help.
