Hello from the "Fourth Corner"--NW WA State.
First Jeep, a Bright White 2015 Cherokee Sport with the SW Edition 21a package & Satellite Radio.
WA is "Honda/SuburuVille". Liked the CRV, but they are EVERYWHERE. Can't remember how many times when I had my Accord I would try to get into the wrong car in a parking lot--there was so many of them, and they all looked the same.
Really like the "menacing/unique" look of the Cherokee front end, the great interior, and comfortable seats (except the headrests). And this thing is QUIET compared to everything else I test drove (CRV, RAV, Rouge, etc). All that, plus dealer discounts and rebates, led to the new Cherokee in the garage.
Hard to believe, but my Cherokee is equaling the mpg of my 1994 Honda Del Sol roadster (think 1994 Civic with just 2 seats & a trunk).
My best Del Sol hiway mpg has been 32mpg, and about 25 in city. Can't pop the top off the Cherokee, but in rainy western WA the Del Sol only gets out of garage for a few months anyway, and the Cherokee is so much more comfortable.
I hate car payments, but at least they are bearable when the vehicle you have selected is comfortable, gets decent mpg, and you enjoy it--and I really like my new Cherokee.
