Angry 2008 grandcherokee limited 5.7 mds Q&A

Ill first start by saying my hemi sounds like crap. At first I thought it was the exhaust system, but every certified mopar service center I have brought it to the story ends in the same way. They tell me nothings wrong with the exhaust and send me on my way. I call back and setup an appointment for a technician ride along and every time the noise is heard but still they say nothing is wrong. 2 weeks ago my check engine light came on and the code was a major emission leak but before the service date the light turned off. the mopar techs then took another look but this time they checked the push rods and the bearings and there was no issues. A couple days later I noticed the ticking leaking noise would get 10X worse when the fuel saver display for the multi displacement system would come on and continue to sound horrible while the mds was kicked in. The mds will come on at consistent speeds from 20mph to 60 plus and once the fuel saver Icon shuts off and I have all 8 cylinders the jeep sounds much better but I fear something is very wrong. so what do I have to do to get my hemi sounding and running better?

Cracked header or broken bolt? I'm sure they didn't check that Lol.. To get to them it's a POS job. Only thing I can think of but I never had a problem like this on my hemi when it was stock so I'm just guessing.

Heard of warped headers too..but broken bolts happen a lot. So could search for that and see if they are describing the same issues.

That makes sense seeing how the check engine light came on for a "major emission leak". I just don't understand why the mopar techs cant pen point this problem. I still have it under warranty so ill see what the say this time. thanks
