2014 Grand Jeep increasing in annoyances

Wadditis Jeep Family, I love this vehicle but it's beginning to nip at my heel

1st: When I plug in my phone to get a charge while listening to Bluetooth music, it will automatically start to play through the USB.....no Problem.
although my phone doesn't seem to recognize that music is playing so my phone wont show a playlist......I have no issue with that.
the PROBLEM is, after a song or two (or for the first three months, track 2 on Drake's, "Never be the same" mixtape) it freezes up, and remains that way for hours. When this happens both Bluetooth and USB refuse to play leaving me the use of regular, XM radio or the CD player.
What's up with that?
It is to the point now where [god forbid] i must charge my phone, I will switch it immediately from the auto USB once plugged to anything but in fear of freezing my music.

2nd: I live in SUnny California, and after 6000 mi. I changed my oil (filter, reset monitoring etc..) and now at 8836, my oil gauge says that I've reached 51% oil life, which is lower than when I changed it, 2-3 months ago.
What's up with that? Is that normal?
From work to home and back is less than 6 miles, and I don't cruise too tough...................help please.

3rd: Now when driving over my complexes speed bumps, my overhead light will come on [chime included]. I do not fly over them, so
WHAT'S UP WITH THAT?

only thing I can say on the overhead light, may be that a door switch is acting funny. the bump must jar it enough for it to briefly think a door is open.

does it say a door is open? and does it do it on other big bumps besides the speed bumps in your complex?

Hm, interesting.
That short commute is certainly bad for oil life.. maybe the oil-life indicator is taking that into account?
