2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee

We bought a new2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 in April. We have experienced some problems with the Uconnect in the Jeep. Within the first week the screen went black. The Jeep ran but nothing in the electronics worked. The Quadra-Tac was inoperable, This has happened twice in various forms.

Wednesday while driving in "D" the backup camera displayed. Above about 10 mph we had a blue screen then when I applied the brakes and slowed to about 10 mph the backup camera would display the same as if I was in reverse. When I drove the Jeep later in the day Uconnect seemed to work.

What was your outcome with this? My 2014 Limited will be showing up within a week or two. I love all the gadgets but fear them breaking.

Still sitting at the dealers waiting for parts this car is a very nice car but it just makes me feel insecure with in the sense that when you need a operable part is the car going to be in the dealers for weeks .If you rely on Chrysler (Aust) they could not give a shit about you onceyou buy a car .The other problem i had which i paid for and fixed myself was that the steering tended to got to the left they are set up for left hand drive roads you can get this done on a laser alignment they are way out .To sum up if you have the slightest problem with the car do not give up on them keep taking it back and as for Chrysler customer service all they do is pass on an email to the dealer.The dealer will do paying service work FIRST and WARRANTY work sits idle as Chrysler have to pay them for labour and parts .The system i havenced over the last 7 months is NOT business ETHICAL standards .When i get this car back i intend to pursue compensation through consumer protection .
