2014 jgc summit
I just bought my first Jeep, last week. I was driving an Infiniti EX 35, that was lousy in the snow, and after last winter, I didn't want to go through that again. I did not go into my search looking for a Jeep, but after research, and visiting various dealerships, for over 2 months, I fell head over heels in love with the GC summit.
Before I made the decision to buy the Jeep, I had narrowed it down to the Pathfinder (why did Nissan change the design, it now looks like an over stuffed station wagon),and the Ford Explorer (the interior is nothing but cheap plastic). But before I pulled the trigger, I told my husband that we should check out the Jeep, after all, we had been searching for 2 months, what is another day (although to be honest, at this point my husband was getting a littler weary of the SUV search). We then headed to the Jeep dealership, and even before test driving it, I fell in love with the interior. As soon as I drove it, I knew this was it. I did a bit more research and decided it was going to be the Summit. Now I had to play one dealership against the other---I hate that game. And on 9-30-14 I became the proud owner of a Granite Summit with the V-8 Hemi and has every bell and whistle I think is available, including the DVD Blu-Ray (now this would have been helpful when my 16 yr old son was little---LOL).
I regret that I only have to drive 5 miles to work. I just love my Jeep and love this site.
