3.2L cooling system info
Coolant thermostat opens at 220 degrees F.
PN 68136754AA for housing with thermostat, cost $46.45
Not aware of any other available temperatures.
Thermostat seal PN 04893377AA (possibly comes with housing?)
Radiator cap, on the recovery tank, coolant pressure is 21 PSI.
PN 68096261AA, cost $11.25
Coolant, 10 year, 50/50 mix boiling point 265 degrees F using 15 PSI radiator cap. PN 68163849AA, cost $36.10/Gal
Boiling point at atmospheric pressure 227 degrees F.
What is the boiling point of 50/50 coolant with a 21 PSI radiator cap??
My guess is 275 degrees F. Does anyone know how to do the math?
Is this a good reason to use 89 octane gas?
