97 grand Cherokee coolant leaking into transmission

So I bought a 97 grand Cherokee I6 4.0. The trans fluid was pretty bad, looked like the "strawberry milk" I see ppl talking about. So I drained it, replaced the filter and filled it back up. Also The coolant was low so I filled it up. Next day the coolant was low again but there were no signs of it leaking anywhere. Now the transmission is having trouble shifting, so I checked it and it's back to looking like a strawberry milkshake. anyone else have this problem and what did you do to fix it? This is my first jeep and first vehicle I'm working on and learning on myself.
