Though, from here it does not seem that far...
Middle aged Swedish bloke, lived and living an expat's life for some twenty odd years, currently in the south of Spain.
Always had a weak heart for the Cherokees, always the 4 litres. After six of those in various state of modifaction (or not), I got settled with family. I upgraded to Grand Cherokee, but stayed true to the six cyl engine for one more round.
Now, at 45, I finally gave in, looking in the mirror I could tell that the need for full comfort had arrived. To not overdo things, I got myself a fairly old WJ V8, but cared for and with only 150k km under the hood.
This is the new song in my life, low muffled thunder, soft changing gears, floating along the scenery.
I guess the next update will be a 2006-2008 model but all in all the same song and the same comfort.
Off-road? We run a rural internet company here, we have the Sierra Nevada in our neck and Sahara just south if here.
Everything is more or less off-road, the car is raised to allow for it, but it now gets done in a more comfortable manner.
Photos will be posted, when I figure out how.
