Brakes Pulsing?

Recently when I first start driving our 2006 Grand Cherokee Overland, a pulse sensation appears. This occurs only when the jeep has been parked for maybe an hour or more. Transfer case lub condition looks good as well as the transmission. It seems that the brakes (front) are being applied without my intervention. After driving a half or block or less the vehicle acts normally. Since I have a 1300 mile drive ahead of me next week, I think I need to get this issue resolved.
