Re: Bruning Smell around tires after driving
Welcome to the garage.
I expect that the brake caliper pins where lubricated during the change of the brake rotors and pads. When not, the caliper can be hard to move and a dragging brake and subsequent brake pad smell is the result.
After i changed my pads, there was also a funny smell after some driving, but that disappeared after some time. Next time check the wheels by hand if they are hot (so take care not to burn your finger in case they are really hot). When you will be doing city driving with lots of stops or downhill driving with lots of brake action, the brakes and wheels will become quite hot, so is normal. Best would be to check after some highway driving, the wheels should be cool then.
