Cherokee Reflash effect on MPG

Last fall the dealer inidcated my 2015 Cherokee Trailhawk needed a number of reflashes. Prior to them I was averaging 20+ combined MPG. Since the reflash, I have seen this drop to below 18 in warmer weather to as low as 14 MPG in winter weather. I have noticed that the RPM's are higher for the shift points.

The dealer says it is all good, and it is the reformulated (winter blend) gas. I can't believe it would make that much difference, and didn't seem to last winter. I had another dealer look at it and they reflashed the transmission, but that made no difference.

The flashes that were done include: RFH, BCM, IPC, HAVC, EPB, PCM, and TCM.

Anyone else experiencing similar issues? I bought the Cherokee over the GC, as I wanted better mileage, which I was happy with before the reflash. Now, it's not much different from my old 2005 GC.

Help!

The main things that you want to look when it comes to fuel mileage are, tire air pressure, four wheel alignment, air filter, spark plugs, plug wires and the PCV valve these are what I can think of off the top of my head. Now if you don't have many miles then the plugs, wires and PCV are probably ok. I would look at the other areas. If the vehicle is out of alignment meaning it pulls left or right when driving down the road.... also the vehicle can go straight ahead and be out of alignment check the tire wear it will tell you if there's an issue unless...it was recently knocked out of alignment. Also fluid levels are the topped off or do the need changed. Too many things can effect fuel mileage. More than likely it isn't any of the reflash that caused this issue.
