Clueless girl, looking for Jeep repair advice
Hi everyone, this is my first post. I registered to ask a really simple question about repair manuals for my Jeep, so maybe I'll just go ahead and ask it here.
I have a 1999 Grand Cherokee and want to buy a repair manual that I can use mainly for reference when shop mechanics tell me about repairs that need to be done, but also so that I can possibly do simple things that aren't really detailed in the owner's manual.
I see that Haynes Manual is popular, but just wondering if there are any other ones on the market that are recommended by Jeep owners.
I have had my Jeep for about 13 years and really love it, although it has needed some fairly expensive repairs since I moved to Nevada a few years ago. It doesn't seem to like the heat too much.
Any advice would be appreciated.
