Colorado is cold.

I've been eyeing the SRT8 Grand Cherokee for a while now. My Mom has driven a Jeep ever since I was a kid. Started with a 1991(?) Jeep Cherokee. Then a 1995 Grand Cherokee, which after being wrecked into the side on an 18-wheeler, was followed by a 1998 GC. After being rear ended by a Mercedes Benz, it was followed by a 2002 GC Overland. I really like the Overland, the 4.7 HO surprised the hell out of me, and it overall is a very nice Jeep. However, being a woman, my Mom breaks it a lot. And having a b!tch switch, she always tries to blame the failures on the service departments incompetency. The last time we were there, she was trying to get new suspension bushings for free, and the service manager was having none of it. So I asked him if me buying a SRT8 would change things, and he said probably. So I bought one.

I got a 2010, Silver, and ordered every option except for the block heater (Which in retrospect I would have liked to have). It's ship date is Nov 4. So far I've got Bwoody springs, and a front SRT emblem for it. Somewhere in a UPS truck are Bwoody links and my bubbled Medic CF hood. I'm going to paint the hood silver, so the bubbling doesn't much bother me. Then I'm going to build a set of headers and a ram air intake for it, then get a BB Valve body and a tune. For now I'll leave it at that I think. Anyways, here are my other toys:

The daily driver (Will be replaced by SRT8). A 1990 BMW 525i. 219,000 miles on original engine/transmission. It's reliable, comfortable, gets decent mileage, but does not return the favor when I turn it on. It has hail damage front to back as of a month ago.

Toy #1. A 2002 SS Camaro 35th Anniversary. Every option available, full SLP treatment, 6-speed, T-tops. Bone stock with 23,000 miles.

Toy #2. A 2003 Suzuki SV1000s. Rear seat cowl replacement, lowering springs, heavier front end oil, and stainless braided brake lines. Otherwise stock. I love riding it, the power is great, and it's a lot of fun. A nice 10 second commuter when it's warm out. For those of you colorblind, the gear doesn't match. I'll fix that when I feel like spending $1000 to replace perfectly fine gear.

Re: Colorado is cold.

Toy #3 and #4. 1988 Fiero GT's. I wrecked the black car, so I'm swapping the engine/trans/interior to the white car. Engine is a swapped brand new 3.4 DOHC crate engine, with the following mods. Fully ported/polished heads (325cfm int, 227cfm exh), 48g lightened lifters, swapped 96 intake manifolds (Shorter more consistent runners), 42.5# injectors, LS1 75mm throttle body, custom built equal length headers and mandrel bent Y-pipe, Garrett GT35r dual ball bearing water cooled T4 turbocharger, TiAL 38mm external at 8.7psi, Air to water intercooled, HKS SSQV blowoff valve, full 3" dual exhaust, enlarged oil pan adding 1.5 qts capacity, Walbro 255 fuel pump, Fidanza aluminum 8lb flywheel, and a Clutchnet "red" clutch. I built this entire engine swap. If there is something done, it was done by me. I built the headers by hand, I built the wiring harness by hand, I (re)built the top end by hand, and I put the spark plugs in. The only parts done by others was the aluminum welding and the ceramic coating.

417whp/427wtq. Those should soon be updated.

Glad to see you made it over here, welcome! Crazy that two bubbled CF hoods ended up about 40 or so miles apart! See you around.
