daylight running light

Hello everyone. I am a new member. I've had 5 Jeep Cherokees. 1986 Cherokee Chief, 1991 Cherokee Sport, 2000 Grand Cherokee Limited (was rear ended and totaled), 2002 Grand Cherokee Limited and 2012 Grand Cherokee Limited. The last 2 I have now. I love these SUV's. My question is How to remove the headlight assembly of the 2012 to replace the daylight running light bulb? The manual says that it is not owner replaceable because it accumulates a charge and might be dangerous, to take it to dealer. Any comments?
