Diesel Fuel Leak

Hi to all (as a new poster). Purchased my 2014 Diesel Overland with Tech and Off-Road package and noticed obvious diesel fuel odor about it. Nearly three days before the dealer could isolate the issue to fuel rail and/or an injector or injector line on the right bank. Now parts (?) are two days away and who knows when I'll see it back (PS: to isolate the issue they say that they've had to put nearly 30 miles on the rig so far.)

Any others that have had an issue? I guess the good news is that if it had been gas, it could have burned up. Overall I love the rig but I can tell you that it would be nice if the service department called me once in a while to update me rather than saying they will and then only updates me when I call them! If Jeep is going to begin selling $50-60+K units they better get their service department into a more customer friendly form.

Re: Diesel Fuel Leak

Welcome! I have a GC Diesel. No leaks here but I did read where a defective fitting in an injector caused a leak. You might get more visibility on this if you re-post it in the 2014 WK2 Diesel forum. I just happen to see it here.
