Unhappy First post, Need help with Death Wobble....

Hello.
So, I've looked around several site trying to figure out the DW problem on my 95 Larado. I decided to start with the Steering Stabilizer. And after 2 weeks, I still can't get that bolt out. But I see I'm not alone with that problem. My question is once I do get the SS replaced, should I rebuild the tie rod boots to help with the DW problem?

Re: First post, Need help with Death Wobble....

Death wobble has a proven diagnostic procedure- look on YOUTUBE for writeups by PLANMAN. Its on a JK but its really the same setup on your 95.

Also- death wobble is not the RESULT of a bad steering stabilizer, it is actually MASKED BY the stabilizer. 99% of the time it is your trackbar... sometimes the holes just waller out and a larger diameter bolt is all you need. Check out those videos.

WELCOME to the JeepGarage family!!!

Be sure to check out the "Jeep Garage" mobile app at the Google and Itunes app stores!

Try alignment and tire balance. Then look at all bushings and repack the wheel bearings if this doesn't work insect track bar sway bar and tie rods replace if necessary. Had the same dw on my zj and try cheapest first as listed.
