Hi folks, new member here. I've picked up a lot of good information from these forums before they finally told me I should join to see more.
My Jeep is a 2008 Grand Cherokee Laredo CRD. It was my daily driver until recently, being more fuel efficient than the '98 Wrangler I just sold. But I recently got a BMW 335d for that, so now the WK gets to play in the mud and dirt! Can you tell I like diesels yet?
I'm already running the Green Diesel Engineering ECOTune, which was cake to load and which I highly recommend. I also installed Eagle Eyes CCFL halo projectors, but they sent me the wrong bulbs with the HID conversion, so I'm waiting on that part. They look *really* good. I'm looking around for LED tail lights to compliment them.
Monday the WK goes into the shop to get a 4" Superlift, 285/70R17 KM2s on AEV Pintler Argent wheels and 4XGuard skids and rails. Near future upgrades include:
Custom winch front bumper and rear bumper with spare carrier (Perkins Performance)
MBRP T-304 stainless diesel exhaust
in dash nav system (probably Kenwood DNX9980HD)
Kenwood TM-D710A dual band radio
Airflow snorkel (unless I can find a better)
29 gallon auxiliary fuel tank in current spare tire position
I know this is more of a street board, so for anyone curious, the BMW is a black on black 335d with M Sport, Premium, Convenience and Cold packages. I haven't dared to mess with this one yet since it is brand new. Hopefully BMW will be coming out with a performance mapping for the diesel engine, and I know Dinan has one in the works.
