Greetings from Virginia
Greetings, Jeep Fans.
My name is TK, and I'm in northern Virginia (USA).
I just picked up a '14 Grand Cherokee Overland, in Brilliant Black, and even though I've only put 200 miles on it, I am pretty impressed.
It's not my first Jeep. I had a 2005 Hemi GC Limited, and before that a 2000 TJ. But the '14 WK2 is a pretty far cry from either of those. The Wrangler was awesome in many ways, but creature comforts was not one of them, and the Hemi was awesome in many ways, but avoiding speeding tickets was not one of them. The WK2 is a car of many features and comforts.
I want to say a pre-emptive thank you to the membership of JeepGarage, as the tribal knowledge on this site was a big part of the research done in the search for my latest vehicle. I was looking at the Ford Explorer, the Acura MDX, and the Audi Q5 and Q7, and the Pathfinder and Forerunner.
The Q7 S-Line was probably my second favorite, but it felt like a lot more money for even fewer features. So, Thank you all. I am super happy to be back in a Jeep.
