thanks for all the replies. I tore apart the door, turns out the bottom pulley broke. A plastic part(you were right, XXX007). I bought some JB weld and am going to glue back together. If that doesn't work, I have to buy the whole assembly, $120.00.

Thanks again. I will let you know how it goes.

Assuming that its the cable block thats broken.....Search for power window cable block before you buy the whole assembly... its about $30.00 bucks. Make sure you get the solid aluminum one and not worry about the plastic piece breaking again.......ever!

and is this only something to wory about when you have cold weather, because the windows on my jeep worked from day 1 and never had a problem.
