New member here. I bought a 2009 Jeep Commander Overland last year in December. This one is loaded with every conceivable option and I love it! I have always had GM vehicles before and did much of my own work. From replacing the engine in my little J-body Sunbird to trans repair and intake manifold gaskets on my last car, 2001 Cadillac Seville.
Now I have the Commander. So far the front diff solenoid motor has failed, had that replaced and a new wiring harness. I had a garage do it since it's bitter cold out, I don't have a lift and just didn't feel like doing it. Got that all done and now I have a P033-something code. #3 misfire. I have no history for this engine and it has 127,000 miles so I might as well do the plugs anyway.
Found this site looking for a how-to and it's not as bad as I thought it would be.
I will start the plug job tomorrow after gathering up the necessary items, plugs, tools & Auntie-Seize.
