New Jeep owner of about one week here, 2015 Gand Cherokee, 4x2 Overland, true blue with the advanced technology group.
Last few months I'd been thinking of buying a new car - been driving a 2004 350Z, but traffic's been getting horrible, 45 minute drive to and from work has been getting up to an hour or so, and the novelty of a manual transmission wore off due to the stop and go traffic
So, started looking for new cars. Had been thinking of something SUV'ish, as I liked the idea of something with a bit more storage room than a 350Z.
Kept on seeing Grand Cherokees on the road, and really liked the way they looked. Read up on them, and liked them even more. Although I did see one getting towed on a flatbed trailer one day, and that made me wonder if that was a sign I shouldn't get one lol
Rented a 2014 Grand Cherokee Limited for a week from Avis (was a pain in the ass trying to request a specific car). Loved the long drive to work in Cherokee, and how surprised by how responsive the V6 was. Thought about getting a 4x4 with a V8, but then figured I'd probably never go off-roading, so decided on a v6. Did keep the 350Z though, couldn't let that go
And loving the advanced technology group - the adaptive cruse control, blind spot warning, and the cross path detection are some pretty nice extras.
Probably won't be doing any modifications, but who knows
Anyways, just wanted to say hello!
And here's a pic, nothing nobody hasn't seen before though lol
