Hello Chuck, welcome aboard! I'm afraid I have no experience regarding your issue being new to Jeep ownership myself but i'm pretty certain somebody will be able to throw some light on it! Best of luck.

Re: Hello I'm trying to reset dash warning lights

What warning light?
Engine malfunction indicator?
Flashing or Solid.
Typically solid goes out after a few good starts if the condition is no longer there.
Flashing, you may want to buy or borrow a OBD-2 scan tool and see what the error codes are and ask a mechanic.
