Help! Don't want to pay $500 for garage to replace EGR valve and 02 Sensor

Hi!
Can anyone point me in the right direction. Check engine light came on and Garage wants $500 to replace the EGR valve and gasket along with the down stream 02 sensor. Are there step by step directions on the web for me to do this on my own?
