Re: (help!) New Member from GA with a WJ

Did you put the scanner on it and checked for faults after it stalled? Did it just stall from normal idle speed, or did it slowly go down and stall?

Stalled from normal idle speed just like I turned the key. No codes except for the p0505 code I've had from the beginning.

Re: (help!) New Member from GA with a WJ

If it just stalls like that and no codes are set (other then the P0505), i would suspect the PCM. We had an other member on here with a problem like this and when im not wrong he changed the PCM finally. I will see if i can find his posts.

Re: (help!) New Member from GA with a WJ

Okay, i took it to the shop to get a diagnosis to try to be as sure as i could that its the PCM making her act up. Without giving them any hints that i thought it was the PCM they pointed at it right away. So i just ordered a completely rebuilt OEM PCM and should have it here by next Wednesday! I'll post results after i replace it?

So I received a replacement PCM from All Computer Resources (highly recommended) and it cleared up my idle/stalling problem immediately! But for some reason my oil pressure gauge keeps dieing when I accelerate quickly. Now I know I don't have any oil leaks and I'm suspecting the oil pressure sender sensor. Just wondered if you had an opinion.
