I'm new to the Jeep world. I recently picked up a '94 YJ for my sons first car, but I think I'm having more fun with it than he is. It runs great, but needs some love.
In the first week I put on a new exhaust, alternator and rear U-Joint.
This weekend I did an oil change and flushed the cooling system. I needed to and fix the windshield wipers, but and ended up installing a new starter. But I didn't sop there.
It's covered in mud and needs new seats, so I decided to pull out the seats and the entire dash to detail the interior and clean up the wiring rats nest. After six snapped bolts, a bunch of grinding and snapped bolt extractions, this is where I left off last night.
I'm definitely hooked, and hope to get myself a CJ5 or CJ7 next summer. In the meantime I look forward to getting my sons YJ back on the road.
I'm glad I found this forum. Looks like there is a lot of great info here and I hope I can add to it with my new experiences.
