Installing Rear DVD in a 2011 JGC

Hi All,new to this forum, but not jeeps, have been an avid fan for years, currently own 2,a uber reliable Jeep Liberty Limited(2008)my wife LOVES and I think will be with us forever, and my 2011 Grand Cherokee, these are our 5th and 6th Jeeps.
So,reason for this post,(and if others have long since answered this,I apologies for repeating!),so.......I lucked out and bought this fully loaded Laredo,(leather, uConnect touch screen with Nav,hard drive etc, panoramic sunroof, just a REALLY nice Jeep, and to me,the cool metallic green),Anyhoo, problem I had I wanted rear DVD,but with the panoramic sunroof, ruled out an overhead unit, couldn't go with headrest monitors due to the passive headrest system,(didn't want to mess with that system as it seems to be an Insurance 'grey area' and didn't want to tempt fate),I happened to be at a Jeep Show,(didn't know it was on,was just visiting friends),and saw a Jeep with the same specs as mine,(except it had the very cool SRT8 rims, looked very cool),what really interested me was that the owner had installed an armrest DVD system, didn't interfere with the armrest console lid either, screen was appx 8"screen and both rear seat passengers could see it easy, coupled with IR headphones it looked a great little system. So now I have one.Bought it on,(type in the search engine "armrest DVD" and it will pop up.Was alittle dubious at first, but reading reviews it was poor install etc),install was pretty easy and works well.Just thought I would add this info if others have the same placement issues I had to get round.Hope this helps others with bored back seat little ones,I did go a step further and added a Sunvisor monitor for my lovely wife so everyone could be entertained,I also added an older Nintendo game cube so games can also be played.I mounted that in the cargo area, only downside to that is I would need to stop to change game discs. The IR game controllers don't affect the IR headphones, that's just an FYI. All in all wasn't too expensive,I purchased the Nintendo from Craigslist, with a lot of games for $60. Sorry for such a looooong post, but again, hope this helps others.
