Jeepers this is nuts

Well, we aren't quite owners yet, but we are picking up a new 2013 JGC Trailhawk tomorrow for my wife. And I am very nervous about the whole thing. We had a 2006 GMC Envoy Denali that my wife unfortunately had an accident in and totaled. She is fine but GMC doesn't make anything in the size range that can haul our camper.

The Envoy had only 2 issues in the nearly 120,000miles we had it.
1. Cat convertors went kaput after 75,000 miles (first time it was taken to the dealer) replaced under warranty.
2.Pinion seal was leaking at about 114,000 miles.

Everything else was normal wear and tear and I typically do my own service. Brakes, shocks, struts, so on an so forth. I am hoping to have many trouble free miles with the JGC, but as they say you never know.

You do realize that the concept of "nuts" for the typical Jeeper is a much wider and more tolerant concept than it would be for lesser mortals...

Sticking a Smart car body on a Jeep just to see what it looks like would not be considered that far out of reasonable for many...

Enjoy the Jeep and long may it chug thru your local nasty weather.

Re: Jeepers this is nuts

We drove about 4 hours out yesterday to pick it up. The dealer was awesome! I have bought a lot of new cars in my life and this was by far the best experience ever.

While we don't like white vehicles the Trailhawks works. This is our first Jeep, but I think my wife is in love.
