Just bought 14 Jeep Cherokee SRT8... A little confused...
So... I just bought my 2014 Jeep Cherokee SRT8 with the 8speed and 6.4L - traded in my 2008 jeep cherokee SRT8, and I absolutely love it love everything about it except for the fact that the Uconnect access is not available in Canada yet (anyone have an idea when it will be?) Anyways, so I bought it with 29 km on it and it now has just under 700 km on it... Was out for my evening cruise and I seen a 2008 jeep Cherokee SRT8 and it apparently has a throttle body kit and exhaust on it anyways so I took it off-line by a car length for sure and then it caught up to me after a little bit... I was shocked... I was for sure thinking that mine would murder it so I'm just wondering why you guys think that this thing kept up after we got to higher speeds?? I'm A chick and I just have no idea. Maybe is it because mines not totally broken in and it's a brand-new motor or because it's heavier than the 2008 models or maybe he's full of shit and has more done to it then he says?? I don't know let me know what you guys think and if you guys can give me any tips on what I can do to give my 2014 a little more pep and it step (maybe cold air? Exhaust? But will these things screw with anything??)so ya something that won't void the warranty or making the engine sluggish or ruining anything just want to do something that will increase horsepower but not affect anything... Thanks guys!!!! ;-)
