My 1st Jeep
I am now the owner of a 2014 Grand Cherokee Laredo E 4x4 V6, black crystal Pearl.
This is a replacement for a 2011 Kia Sorento V6. The Kia was a good vehicle that had strong throttle response and virtually trouble free use for 55K miles. Changed the oil, etc.
My wife is not happy that this model does not have Navi, back-up camera, and she is upset that these features would have cost another $4K, so I had to say no... Getting up there to $40K means one could buy a new Touareg, and that is the head of the class. I love my 2004 V6 Touareg, but I appreciate the difference 10 years make... I like the ride and handling of this model WK2. I still believe that my Touareg has a better ride and handling, marginally now... but there is no question as to power! Jeep is much heartier, at 290 hp vs 220 on the VW.
Anyway, I'm hoping this will be a trouble free vehicle and that we shall enjoy all it may offer.
Here's looking at you, Jeep!
