N23 FDMC Recall

Hi guys
Just new to the site and have a GC 3.0 CRD had the recall done for the final drive module and have now discovered that the Lo4 will not engage was fine before recall any suggestions??

yes, the dealer musst make the flahing rigth and cancel more the error, look the tsb!


15. For vehicles with active Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) “C140F” perform the following procedure:
a. Turn the ignition key to the “OFF” position and remove the key from the ignition switch.
b. Insert the key into the ignition switch and place the ignition in the “RUN” position.
c. Navigate to and select the FDCM “DTC” tab.
d. Clear all stored and active DTC’s for a second time.
e. Clear all stored DTC’s for a third time.

have a good credit limit on on your credit card and prepare to hear the dealership say, "...gee Paul, you are the first customer to have a problem with that recall!"

One thinks Jeep have particular knowledge of this and a re hiding up their own ass..... Time for Fiat (Jeep) to own up

all of you need to report ANY problem with the recall to NHTSA. takes all of 5 minutes. its the only way the gov will put some pressure on fiat/

Thought I'd come over here and see how this forum is dealing with the dreaded N23. It seems eerily quite. What is the consensus here? N23 no problem or Jeeps dreaded curse.

There's a Jeep representative on another forum who's been insinuating that engineers are working on this, but nothing concrete, talk is cheap.

Jeep Service Bulletin 21-022-14 completed today. After nearly one year, several visits to reflash N23, new actuator, Star Case Update, total out of pocket...$0.00.
