Well the wife wanted to go looking for a vehicle and she wanted to look at the jeeps..........
We've been Jeepless for about 3 years! Well after twisting my arm a bit(YEA RIGHT) we came home with a 2014 Trailhawk.
All I can say is whoa doggy Jeep stepped it up on this one! The quality of the fit and finish on the vehicle far surpasses any previous jeep I've owned by a long shot, and I've owned a few. She drove the Cherokee first and then the Grand and she decided on the Trailhawk and for our needs she definitely made the right choice. We're getting a little older now and comfort is important but we still like to hunt and fish and get off the path a bit just not as aggressive as in our younger days.
Notice I mentioned comfort and for those of you sitting on the fence, the ride and comfort in this little SUV is amazing. Who ever designed the seats & interior & suspension should have been given a years salary as a bonus!! Well we took her on her maiden voyage on a 250 mile drive. We have some fairly steep grades in AZ and she pulled them all with ease (3.2 V6)and power to spare and then we drove her down a curvy very long grade where she performed well and handling exceeded our expectations. Pulling those long grades with an AC unit that kept us cool as a cucumber isn't easy with 100+ degree temps outside and the Jeep did it with ease! She managed to give us 21+ miles to the gallon on the complete trip hand calculated and was a comfort to drive. This JEEP is designed so well it surprised me on numerous fronts and this comes from an Acura owner. It was more comfortable than my wife's Acura to drive and driver fatigue was nonexistent.
So if you're sitting on the fence good deals are to be had on the 2014 and with financing rates this low it's a good time to buy or order that new Jeep.
I doubt you'd be disappointed and would almost bet you might be a little amazed at just how well they did things on the Trailhawk!
