New Member here. Owned a 95 and 01 JGC and then bought a Chevy Avalanche. The Av has been a great vehicle but I'm about to buy/order a new GC. I test drove an Overland today and then a 4Runner. Definitely made my decision that the GC is the vehicle for me. Wife loved it as well and did not like the T4R.
Can't find anything in the area with the Off Road II package so I'll probably be ordering. Looking for an Overland with Off Road & HK Audio. Nothing in stock in DFW area that I have found. I'm going to check around a little more before ordering.
Thanks everyone for the information - I've been lurking around for a few months educating myself.

Re: New Member

Any DFW dealers active in the forum? I was not very happy with my closest dealer. They seemed woefully unfamiliar with the JGC options and even the inventory they had on the lot. I'm a little uncomfortable ordering a vehicle from them. I have had wonderful experiences at a sister Chevy dealership so I was very disappointed. And the sales manager did not leave a favorable impression. When I told him I was going to drive a 4Runner he began to bad-mouth the competition. A sales no-no in my book.
