And first time Jeep owner. Have been driving around now for four days in my new 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk.
Billet Silver with the black Trailhawk hood decal and red trail rated badges and Trailhawk badge on the sides and back. It has the standard 3.6 liter V6 Pentastar engine and it's totally loaded with every available option except for the Mopar rock rails, which would of been a 35% increase as an upgrade, instead of just picking them up after purchase.
I am already looking at Warn winches.
I am a total noob when it comes to off roading adventure, but will be reading and learning all I can. I am 51 years old, so I don't think I will be doing any hardcore stuff anytime soon, but I definitely do want to learn to become independent going off road and adventuring into the back country.
I will start off slow maybe doing some Jeep Jamborees and in a few years time feel salty enough to take on bigger challenges. By that time, my Trailhawk will be old enough that I won't shed any tears if it gets a scratch or an inevitable fender crease.
I had a Toyota Tacoma TRD for 4 years, but I have to admit, After driving this Grand Cherokee around for 4 days, I feel a certain sense of pride, finally being behind the wheel of a Jeep. Something about this Iconic American brand name that defines American ingenuity, Americans freedom of spirit and American toughness.
Anyhoo, just wanted to stop in and say hello and happy to be here.
