New member! Bad News =( Gotta sell my Startech

Hey guys I am new to the forums....wish I would have found this forum when I bought my jeep back in 2006!

The reason I am posting is because I am looking to sell my Jeep......which makes me extremely sad to think about. I am moving to Australia and cannot take my Jeep with me...... I am crying inside right now just thinking about selling it.

So I cannot figure out what price I should put on my Jeep. I did the Kelly Blue Book thing but they do not list my jeep lol. The best comparison I could do priced out at around $6,600 for private sale.

What I have:

2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Startech. This is the actual Startech package and not just the add ons. The engine, suspension, braking system and all the body and interior.... everything was customized by the Startech company in Germany.

So basically the specs in a nutshell:

2003 Jeep Startech
4.7L with some engine mods to beef up the horsepower like K&N cold air intake system and other techy stuff (too much to really list).

112k miles. Serviced regularly, no oil leaks, absolutely spotless engine tbh. Transmission is perfect. I have babied this Jeep!

Sports suspension package
Sports braking package
Flow Master single exhaust

Startech rims, with chrome sideskirts, chrome front brush guard with body molding, chrome rear brush guard.

The interior is all startech as well with the startech chrome illuminated panels on the driver and passenger step. The wood grain Startech steering wheel. Startech shifter logo setup along with the startech floor mats and a whole bunch of other stuff. Plus I have all the pioneer indoor speakers and tweeters and cd deck.

Just alot of stuff to my Jeep and I cannot figure out how much I should sell it for.

I want to be reasonable but I LOVE MY JEEP SO MUCH and with just tht I want to sell it for 50k lol (I knwo I will not get that out of it.)

So just wanted a few ideas from anyone who may have a ball park range I could get away selling this for!

Here are some pictures:

That is a hard one. I'd say try to figure it out by using the pricing for the 2003 Grand Cherokee Limited and what the blue book says on it. New price and how much it'd be worth now and try using that like a template to figure out how much yours could go for. I haven't seen pricing on Startech's because they're not too common here.

Re: New member! Bad News =( Gotta sell my Startech

yea, the price on the limited was 6,400 or something like that. Brand new the star tech runs right around 55k + (upgrades alone cost 22k on mine.)

I think I am going to shoot between 8-10k asking price. So I will put it up for 13k and "let them talk me down" lol.

I have never seen another one of these beauties on the road. Also when I take it to the Jeep dealers to get serviced when ever I go to a new dealer I always get the comment "damn I have never seen one of these!"

Only one mechanic at the dealer ship has seen one and he said he has been working for jeep about 35 years lol.
