New member looking for Horse Trailer advice, PLEASE!

Hi,

We have a 2009 Jeep Overland with V8, hemi & big 7000+ towing package. Haven't towed ANYTHING with it. Pathetic! But, we are looking to get a horse trailer and would love advice from anyone who has used their Jeep to pull a horse trailer.

Thanks!

Re: New member looking for Horse Trailer advice, PLEASE!

Hi! I am sure others will chime in but yes your Hemi jeep can pull some horse trailers; you just need to find a knowledgeable horse trailer dealer and get the right sized/weight type of trailer SUITABLE for your jeep and horses too. If you have not already pulled a horse trailer, you need to get this right the first time. Having owned horses, horse trailers, jeeps, pickups & also been a trailer dealer I know a little about this. For me, hauling horses is way less forgiving than anything else because they "alive", you want to keep them that way and unlike a boat, RV, etc. you are trying to provide them the safest, most comfortable travel possible. Get hooked up with someone knowledgeable!! Dave
