Re: Newbie in UK

Ah, cool. Pretty neat you can use the same tuner with different cars, I guess you just download different maps onto it or something? You do get a fair boost in HP/TRQ from it! I was just hoping you didn't fork out over a grand on the Startech upgrade for CRDs...

That's more like my style... My EVIC reads in the ~13-14 mpg range but I do short journeys to work and give it fairly frequent WOT bursts along the way.

Re: Newbie in UK

Only costs about 60.00GBP for the looms to be changed

I suspect his BHP claims are a little high, but what the hell, its a huge improvement

I did look at the Startech stuff, but ran away laughing at how much money they wanted

13 mpg in UK gallons is 15.6 mpg but thats still pi~~ poor in our overtaxed island

Re: Newbie in UK

Nice to hear from you

Mine was advertized as Dark Khaki Metalic and its the 1st I have seen, but its realy a dark grey/silver that has a slight tint of green from certain angles and in certain lights

Am pleased with the interior colour, never seen it before, and prefer it to the grey of my last (55 plate) GC

Ref the chip, this will be the second time I have used the same companies product in a Jeep CRD

Same drivetrain in both, and an instant 3 mpg increase and a nice useful boost to performance, mainly torque and it drives great

Am based in the SE nr to Harwich in Essex
