I've been lurking around for a couple of months and finally decided to pony up and support the site. Currently driving a 2000 WJ (4.7L Laredo) with just over 80k on it (worked from home for a few years), and between me & my wife's family we have had 5 Jeeps in the past 12 years, including my wife's beloved '96 XJ that went Tango Uniform after 190k hard miles.
I'm planning to purchase a '14 WK2 CRD...not sure which trim package yet, but I think the Summit may be calling my name. We're currently debating whether or not to move to Alaska, which will determine if we keep the WJ (if we move) or the TDI Sportwagen (if we stay in WA). Also really interested in hearing more about the Wagoneer as more details become available.
Overall I've been really impressed by the conversations I've read through on this forum, and am especially grateful for the information that insiders like Milous bring on a daily basis. I have to say, I've refreshed the '14 WK2 thread so many times now that I found myself hoping for a JeepGarage-branded replacement F5 key instead of the magnet in the new member's kit.
I suppose this is just a long-winded way of saying, "Howdy!"
