Eventhough i would not suspect the PCV valve, if it was not changed before, i would do it now. Especially for the 4.7L engine, where the crankcase ventilation is so important to keep the oil from forming sludge.
The MAP sensor could be a possibility. I would first check the IAC stepper motor plunjer for being dirty. If clean, than i would change the MAP sensor. What was the code from the sensor?
