The silver lining is I can learn from my dislikes of the first one and choose better options for the next one.
Things I will be upgrading:
8.4 inch screen is a must.
Bi-xenon headlights preferable since they are such a pain to retro-fit.
Most likely go with a higher speced trim to avoid the textured plastic trim at base of vehicle.
Painted fender flares are so much better looking.
Ow! Hopefully nobody picked up any lingering bad effects from being smashed into.
I'd keep careful eye out for any symptoms such as stiffness, aches, etc.
Hopefully the other drive has insurance, where hopefully YOUR insurance company goes to bat for you to keep you from suffering any financial harm from any of this, and may even be able to help take the other driver off the road before they kill someone.
If you don't regularly hit the boulders, check out the Summit range. Nicer audio, interior, etc. and you can always retrofit the skid plates if you want.
Overland with everything and the luxe pack is nice, but if I were to do it over again I'd go Summit and add the plates and swap the 20's for 18s.
