Looked at Jeep Grand Cherokee yesterday here in Mackay QLD Australia. The brand wasn't even on the radar, had checked a Mazda BT50 the day before and was there to look at a D Max but the torque figures on the GC poster intrigued me. We took a Limited for a drive and despite having leather interior were quite impressed.
I suppose what we would like to know is the prospects for keeping a GC for the long term. We tend to keep cars for a long while, Rodeo for 13 years (1/4 mil ks), Magna for 10 years etc.
I know nothing of the reputation of River City Motor Group who are the Mackay dealers.
Some forums bag Chrysler Australia, any feed back? Ford and others also get a fair pasting so I'm neutral.
I regularly drive an Auto Hilux, did about 1/4 mil Ks in the last one.
