Ventilated Driver Seat Issue

I have just purchased a new 2015 overland with the ventilated seats and found the motor for the ventilated seats is sticking into my back.
Does anyone else have this issue and know how to resolve it.
Any help would be appreciated as it is quite uncomfortable.

I don't think the motor is in the back of the seat. Have you tried adjusting your lumbar support?

I have adjusted the lumbar support however the seat pokes into the back between the shoulder blades which is above the lumbar support. The service department at Lander removed the back of the seat to reveal the motor and said there is nothing that they can do.
I cant imagine that nothing can be done as this would be a major design flaw.

Re: Ventilated Driver Seat Issue

If this was a major design flaw we would be seeing a whole lot of complaints about it.

That doesn't mean that your particular vehicle doesn't have an issue. Did you try sitting in other vehicles at the dealership? If they all stick in your back, see an orthopedist. If not, point this out to your service manager and have them take a second look at your seat. Chances are the tech who looked at your Jeep never saw the inside of a seat and wouldn't know if something was out of place. It could be some missing padding.
