Re: NEW Meguiar's DA Microfiber Correction System has revolutionized detailing!

awesome job bro! i did a bmw 330i over the course of two days (sat and monday) and also did a full correction. this new MF correction kit is AWESOME!!! i used an air compressor to clean the pad after every section pass and man this compound is awesome! gets the paint to 90% clear!

you can also use 105 and 205 with the pads or 151 if you are doing a 1 step! finishing wax is not too bad but i also topped it with BFWD i did the whole car w/2 discs but really only needed 1, i used the second to see if i would get more cut after doing 1/2 the car with the 1st disc.

That is awesome! I'm so thrilled to hear about people getting great results from a combination we recommend often. Please keep us posted on the results and if you get time take some photos. Keep up the good work, remember to stretch, start early and rope friends in to helping you out.

Re: NEW Meguiar's DA Microfiber Correction System has revolutionized detailing!

My wife has been asking me to do her car ever since I used the color correction kit on my jeep.So yesterday I told her if she tapes it up by the time I get home from work,I'd do it.I figured she would never do it but sure enough when I came home & pulled in the driveway there she was putting the last bit of tape on so there was no way to get out of it unless something happened like a scene out of the movie 2012.Lol.I knew she was serious when I looked down & saw the buffer & pads laying there. One thing for sure was it took a lot less time to do her car than the jeep. When I was close to finishing 2 of her friends came
over & she was telling them in her own words,"Check this out.Look no circles or those ugly swirly marks.I'm helping him make my baby look how it was when I first got it."After I finished,I put a coat of BFWD on & she flew off to run errands. One question though, the only carnuba wax I have left is some old mothers cleaning carnuba wax & I know I'm not suppose to use that so what's the best carnuba wax to use?

Thrilled to hear it came out looking so good, but sorry to hear of the extra labor from the wife. You would have had to pull the "Kenny the restaurant is on fire move....." (AT&T commercial) which is never easy after you show up. You are correct you don't want to apply a cleaner wax of any kind after the Wet Diamond. The Blackfire Midnight Sun Carnauba Paste Waxis an outstanding wax that we highly recommend but it's expensive. The Poorboy's World Natty's Blue Paste Wax is another high quality carnauba wax that costs far less and looks great! Let me know if you have any other questions.
