Re: 2002 WJ 2 inch lift idea

welcome to jeep garage

personally i just bought the same vehicle and i am planning on buying an Iron Rock Off road 3" lift kit comes with everything you will need to lift your vehicle.

i wouldn't suggest going any higher cause once you go to 4" and above you may run into drive line vibrations with a stock setup.

Hell, i had driveline vibrations at factory height! i havent lifted it yet. im going 4" short arm (Zone) and im upgrading the front driveshaft to either a Rusty's Offroad or a Tom Woods.

Re: 2002 WJ 2 inch lift idea

yeah i have not had any driveline issues as of yet and i hope to keep it that way, thats why i am going just go to 3" and not worrying about upgrading shafts and t-case drops or SYE's just keep it simple for me. im not doing anything nuts off road just trying to give my jeep what it should have had from the factory.

Re: 2002 WJ 2 inch lift idea

the 3" lift is a true lift kit not just a Budget boost with spacers.

the IRO 3" Kit comes with everything you could need.

i would also suggest 2 upgrades on this kit that are available at time of purchase, at least the Nitro Shocks and the adjustable front track bar.
