285/70/17 in stock spare location???

On my previous (recently totaled) WK I was running 265/70/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers with a full-size spare in the stock spare location. The 265/70/17 spare fit easily by cutting the back of the hitch and hitch bolts. It seemd like I had a bit of room to spare, is anyone running a 285/70/17 in the stock spare location?

FWIW, I'll most likely run 285/70/17 Treadwright Warden's (BFG A/T copy) with the OME lift

I am guessing you are talking about your current WK?

Well, I'm just planning ahead, my '05 WK was totaled recently (rear-ended while I was stopped at a red light) and I'm currently looking for another WK to replace it

He wants them to design the tire carrier that works with his factory rear bumper. He doesn't want the weight. But I want the full rear bumper

Cut the rear crossmember, move it back an inch or two, trim the hitch receiver bolts if applicable.

I want the full rear bumper too but the tire carrier that works with the factory would work too not to mention the price difference that I'm sure there'll be. I think full front and rear replacments would get me in trouble. Too many assholes out there that like to cut people off or drive like an idiot. If I didn't have to worry too much about damaging my vehicle......
