So what do i need to know before installing this kit on a 2005 wk with the 5.7

Re: 4 inch superlift install

First and foremost know that you will need to do some cutting and welding of the unibody crossmember. That to some is a big turnoff for those that like to do their own wrenching. You can still do the lift and just have someone cut and weld in the crossmember brace beforehand.

Well I actually happen to be a welder so my mig and my plasma are fired up! Welding and cutting turn me on!!!!!

It's a fairly easy lift to install, just take your time and don't rush it. I did mine outside of my garage during winter in Chicago and hated it!

I would recommend putting a good bend in the exhaust where it crosses under the front driveshaft. I had a muffler shop do mine to make sure I had plenty of clearance and didn't have a dimple in it. You also need to know that you will be totally stoked after you put it on!!!
