clearly he shouldn't have "re-opened" for business when he did. Maybe he didn't know how swamped he was going to get. But if that is the case, he shouldn't have made any promises.

Re: 4X Guard

I have never had any personal problems with 4x or Marlin for that matter, but I also never ordered anything either. Yet, they did have a few things that were on the wish list. May have to re-consider now.

As a owner/operational manager of a store that is in the industry of producing a product and dealing with dead lines, and custom customer requests. (Not just a set line of products) You have to always keep communication lines wide open with your customers. Personally I have found that 99% of people are understanding if you are honest and upfront in regards to any bumps in the road you may come across.

Personally no matter what at the end of the line they should being giving you a nice discount for these troubles. For the simple fact to save face.

In business its always good to remember that PIGS GET EATEN BUT HOGS GET SLAUGHTERED. Money isn't always the most liquid asset.

Re: 4X Guard

Well said and SO true... my main issue was communication. I don't mind if things are behind schedule, just own up to it and don't blame your powder coaters. I personally LOVE their products cuz I speak from experience, and they are rock solid! Again, I think he bit off more than he can chew and it'll be all good soon enough! Hopefully... haha

Re: 4X Guard

I mean if it was me cause I have come through where I was unable to fill a dead line and I am honest about it with the customer. Plus they have a a decent profit margin im sure. Enough to where they can help out the customers that are staying loyal to them in there time of re-building and finding there way.

I seen you got your rear skid Coop. Glad to see it finally came in for you, and after all this wait I hope it is exactly what you wanted and more. It was almost in time for christmas lol

Shot with the rate there going I can call my buddy that does metal work and we can start making our own. Call it ONTIMEGUARD.
