This may be a pretty silly question from someone new to the offroad scene...
I put my matrix brush guard on today and I noticed where I place the d-ring shackles that the d-rings slide back and forth as there is a considerable amount of space on the d ring shackle mount area. Is this supposed to be the case?
That should not be like that. I dont own a matrix so i cant tell you whats wrong. Maybe if you take a picture of the whole matrix, i can figure it out.
It seems like it does. I can get some washers that will help with the sliding. I have only noticed Coop's jeep to have the d ring shackles on his matrix.
That is the best shot I have right now. Will take better ones later this afternoon.
Thanks. I got this idea that I might put some fogs on the underside of my matrix instead of the factory holes. I am going to see about getting some of those washers.
Looks like you have your answer already! However, If you are cheap like me you can find both rubber and nylon bushings at Lowes that will work and only cost a couple bucks

Way ahead of you. I already went to the local hardware store and found grommets 72 cents a piece. Down side is I no longer need the isolators I bought lol. They are snug with 2 on each.
