Re: BDS lift kit and new tires

I have a 2004 Overland, and likewise have a V8. Do you think I could fit 245/70/17 tires with the 2 inch bds lift??

Yes you could. I don't doubt it. I would pitch in the extra $100 and get a daystar leveling kit to raise the front end up and balance her out.

Re: BDS lift kit and new tires

A suspension lift kit raises the suspension of the vehicle by replacing front and rear leaf springs and shocks. This not only creates greater travel, it can allow for significantly taller tires, improving clearance between axles and ground. Articulation should improve with a good rancho lift kits, but because the steering geometry is affected, some people choose to add steering stabilizers.

Re: BDS lift kit and new tires

What??? Not to be rude elevatered, but WJ's do not have leaf springs. Not sure if you are here to just sell Rancho lift kits, but they don't compare to BDS for more than one reason. Anyway, strnsrt8 you should have no problem with those tires with a 2" BDS lift. I just recommended the leveling kit because of the weight of the V8 and do the fact that it makes the jeep look much better leveled out.
